Sheikh Abdul Badi bin Omar bin Muhammad Al Zuhri bin Omar Al Yafi Sheikh Abdul Badi 

Sheikh Abdul Badi  is the founder of the Al Yafi family in the Hijaz. He was born in Damascus in 1278 AH. He worked in the cloth trade and was responsible for supplying Ajyad General Hospital in Makkah during the late Ottoman era and during the rule of Sharif Hussein bin Ali.

He was the owner of large commercial caravans, which numbered 450 camels, loaded with merchandise.

 

Sheikh Abdul Badie has three children:
1- Omar (1312-1391) (the sheikh of the cloths in Jeddah).
2- Zehry (1314-1393).
3- Tawfiq (1316-1379).
